The Angel of the North.
The Angel of the North is a contemporary sculpture, located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England. It was designed by Antony Gormley. It is a steel sculpture of an angel, 20 metres tall, with wings measuring 54 metres across. The wings do not stand straight sideways, but are angled 3.5 degrees forward; Gormley did this to create "a sense of embrace".

This blog is a collaboration of submissions from a variety of zazzle arists. Everyone makes their own submissions of designs they like from their store and other stores. Each design is individual and does not reflect the values, beliefs or styles of the authors as a whole, only the individual author who posted it.
